As a couple we feel our family is our number one priority. We know parenting is the most important and rewarding role we will play in life. We both have special memories of our childhood and can not wait to create those for our child. Whether it is reading our child's favorite book or building a fort in the living room, we feel it is important to have fun, laugh and enjoy everyday moments. Our number one wish for our child is happiness and we feel a happy home is safe, nurturing and full of unconditional love and open, heartfelt communication. As parents we hope to embrace our child's unique personality and talents, and provide positive support so they have the self-confidence to follow their dreams.

Christianity is important in our lives and we both grew up going to church with our families. Although our church experiences were different, we feel our core values are the same. These are a few of the important values that guide us: be loving and giving to others, be compassionate and respectful to all living things and the beautiful world around us, be grateful and appreciative of our many blessings, know life's challenges will only make us stronger, be understanding and supportive of everyone's unique differences and remember everyday is a precious gift. We have recently found a church family that shares these values, inspires us to be better, welcomes us with open arms and is excited about our adoption plans.
